UNICEF calls for steady flow of vaccines to defeat COVID

The UN child agency, UNICEF is calling for speed and simplicity to remove barriers to the acquisition, manufacturing and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines globally. UNICEF is concerned that at the current rate, there is simply not enough vaccine supply to meet demand. While some nations have secured enough doses to vaccinate their populations several times, other countries have yet to receive even their first batch.
