EP67: Marketing Research Foundation: Johan Koster - Mapping out the future of marketing with MAPS
--:--
For some #marketers #advertisers and #media strategists in Mzansi the demise of AMPS in 2015 is viewed as the end of the world. For others it signals the start of a Brave New World. Either way the reality is that the post-AMPS media and #research landscape consists of a range of databases, each one representing a distinctively shaped piece in the holistic #marketing and media jigsaw puzzle.
Today on The Doc and The Guru Podcast we chat with Marketing Research Foundation CEO Johan Koster about the launch of the Marketing All Product Survey (MAPS). Five years in the melting pot MAPS – often erroneously referred to as the replacement for AMPS - was released to subscribers last week.
Now all interested parties in the industry are invited to attend the launch of MAPS on 25th March. Just click on this link and you’ll make the synch.
MRF MAPS LAUNCH 25 MARCH 10H00
The new MRF MAPS will provide insights on products and brands, intermedia comparisons and a host of other consumer behaviour measures. The MAPS questionnaire has been modernised and reengineered to marketers’ current needs, making it a big step-up and in many instances even a step-away from AMPS.
For an insight into the fieldwork conducted between July and December listen in The Doc and The Guru in conversation with Plus94 CEO Sifiso Falala earlier this year.
A subscription-funded research survey and database MAPS is managed by the MRF and is funded and controlled by marketers under the auspices of The Marketing Association SA. This funding model allows subscribers input into the scope and content of the research and all parties interested in subscribing to MAPS should contact the MRF for relevant details.
So, join us #free on The Doc and The Guru Podcast and as we map out the future with MAPS.
