#PODCAST: Western Cape police lauded for their clinical approach, after seizing a massive shipment of cocaine

By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - The Cape Town Drug Counselling Center (CTDCC) have applauded police after a seizing large quantities of cocaine on a fishing vessel off the coast of Saldanha Bay in the Western Cape. Initial reports suggest the drugs have a street value of over 580-million-rand. Cape Town police say ten foreign suspects, four Bulgarians and six from Myanmar will appear in court soon, facing charges of dealing in drugs. Investigations are still being done to determine the origin and destination of the consignment. Director of the Counselling Center, Ashley Potts says the value estimate that police have put on this bust is just a fraction of what dealers would have made after cutting and mixing the drug...
