KULTURE TALK | Professor Sarama Tsunoda

Studying in a foreign country. Studying in Japan.
Japan says it has a number of study opportunities, scholarships and bursaries, for international students who would like to study in that country.
About 140,000 international students from more than 170 countries and re-gions of the world are studying at higher educational institutions in Japan. It says there are many scholarships for which one can apply there in Japan, and many of those cater for only students of foreign nationalities. These are also available to South Africans.
These opportunities are available for those have recently passed their Matric, BUT ALSO to young people in their 20s and 30s (and even 40s), who would like to further their careers or broaden the scope of their opportunities.
