During the #PersonalPower feature on the #OnTheGoBreakfast show, Complexion and Mpho Mashita talked to Emotional Intelligence Coach Millicent Sedibane about the benefits of taking a gap year.

A number of Limpopo parents did not quite agree with the idea of a gap year!

Ausi Cathy, a distraught mother, indicated that her son, who is in matric this year told her that he will not be studying beyond matric but he is more interested in launching a business.

She asked for the team's intervention. In this podcast Clinical Psychologist, Steven Molepo and Business Coach, Lucas Moloi talk both mother and son to try and help them find each other.

The renewal of the Zimbabwe Exemption Permits in South Africa

A lot of publications in Zimbabwe have been running with reports around how the South African government will soon announce a decision on the renewal of the Zimbabwe Exemption Permits (ZEP) for the nearly 180 000 Zimbabweans based in South Africa.

In this podcast, Complexion and Mpho Mashita talk to Bongani Mazwi Mkhwanazi from Zim-Community SA, about the issues around the permits renewal and how this has sparked a contentious debate.

On Friday (5 November 2021), Zim-Community SA released a statement to its members as well as Zimbabweans that they represent, in which they encouraged them to stay calm and not be anxious about the hashtags and the different debates that have flared up about the stay of Zimbabweans in South Africa!

NEASA against any move to make vaccination mandatory in the workplace

Are South African matriculants generally unethical?

In this podcast, the Complexion and Mpho Mashita look at the annual problem that Limpopo faces as a province … the problem of leaked matric exam papers and cheating during matric exams.

They talk to the Director of Ethicalways, Penny Milner-Smyth about whether we should generally question how ethical matriculants are.

The Department of Education in Limpopo released a statement saying that the Limpopo MEC for Education, Polly Boshielo will lead the Provincial Pledge Signing ceremony by candidates registered to write the National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Learners will sign a pledge committing to comply with the Examination Code of Conduct. In addition to the pledge signing, learners and parents are required to sign a Commitment Agreement, which provides a detailed list of the key rules and regulations relating to the NSC examination as well as the requirements and rules relating to the COVID-19.
