#AfricaDay: Forbes Africa 30 under 30 on the #UrbanLunchExperience

To celebrate Africa Day, Thabo Sebashe explored the talents that the youth of Africa have to offer. And to do so he turned to the Forbes Africa 30 under 30 list that is released annually. The list comprises of 30 game changers throughput the African continent and to talk about the list he had a chat with Karen Mwendera who is a Forbes journalist. She explained the importance of the list and how they get to select from the thousands of applications that they receive every year.

He also reached out to intra-African travel and beer blogger Katchie Nzama who has back packed for 6 months to 26 countries, and has been to 35 African countries in total. She shared a few tips, and shed light that traveling and exploring Africa isn’t as expensive as one would think it is.

Getting to know the SANDF - Week 5 #OnTheGoBreakfast

The South African National Defense Force was deployed to support the South African Police Service to enforce the nationwide lockdown. When the novel CoronaVirus befell the world, from its epicentre in Wuhan, China, the South African Embassy in Beijing, China raised the alarm that there were over a hundred nationals in that country, necessitating repatriation to the country.

Following consultation with the Chinese government, the government of South Africa made the decision to repatriate our brethren back home to be with their loved ones, and Col Mdutywa and his unit set out to launch the a mission.

Col Mcebisi Zukile Mdutywa is the Officer Commanding of 7 Medical Battalion Group, an elite specialized airborne Battalion Group of the South African Military Health Service and a fully-fledged medical doctor and today he lets us in on the work he does.

DJ Complexion and Mpho Mashita hosted him as they talked their mission to Wuhan.

The Executive Mayor of the Capricorn District Municipality, Cllr Mosema John Mpe shared the Draft on Intergrated Development Plan Budget for the year 2020 and 2021. The counselor shared the draft IDP with the residents of the Capricorn District for their input, as he stated that the basic political principle states that "The People shall govern" as a result is of utmost importance for the people to have input. The IDP will run from the 1st of July with all the challenges that the various communities battle.
