Shishani is a Namibian songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist living in the Netherlands. Her roots are Namibian and Belgian in origin, but she grew up mainly in the Netherlands. In her work, she brings these worlds together. Her vocal style has been influenced by Afro-American and African music traditions, giving her a truly unique sound.

Riaan Smit performs a fusion of gypsy blues and alternative folk. The frontman of various bands including Crimson House and the Brothers Remedy, his musical and performance influences came from his time as a ringmaster in a circus cabaret, and his years spent under the guidance of traveling bluesmen. He started playing on a guitar his father had won in a poker game and the rest is history.
