Nicholas Dlamini from Capricorn Park in Muizenberg graduated from the Velokhaya Life Cycling Academy (NGO) in Khayelitsha to become a UCI World Tour Pro rider with - NTT Pro Cycling formerly Team Dimension Data.

After spells with Team Europcar & MTN Khubeka. He earned a place on the DiData Continental Team.

In 2018 he became only the second black South African to ride on the UCI World Tour circuit for DiData. True to his nickname “Bhere” (Bear) he grabbed the King of the Mountains Jersey at the Tour Down Under & Tour of Britain in his debut season.

In 2019 he participated in his first Grand Tour - Vuelta A Espaná. Could he be the next South African to ride the Tour De France in 2020.
