Cirrus Capital economist Rowland Brown explains what to expect in Finance Minister Calle Schlettwein's National budget this year, as Namibia faces a tough economic environment & a contracting economy. This is Part 3 of a three part podcast that will aid the understanding of our current economic predicament! This Episode focuses on Namibia’s deficit and defence spending. It also answers if government’s defence spending is holding the economy back. Brown has previously worked at the Central Bank, a commercial bank and in National Planning in Government.
