Michael Vlismas and London based SA Rider Bjorn Estment

We opened the show with the latest from Joburg Open with Michael Vlismas. We also caught up with London based SA Rider Bjorn Estment, who landed back home this week after a very promising 2017 in Motorsport. He joined us in studio for an extended chat about riding and future endeavours.

Michael Vlismas was first up to chat Golf and preview the Joburg Open resuming on Thursday. We looked back the 2nd Ashes test with Sabc’s Khanyiso Tshwako. With Big international teams set to battle it out in the next round of the Uefa Champions League, Soccer Laduma’s David Kappel had his say and predicted the quarter-finals.

Stuart Baxter, Mninawa Ntloko, Springboks and Craig Ray

SAFA held an urgent performance meeting with Bafana coach Stuart Baxter on Tuesday evening and the R10 million pay-out to FIFA resurfaces. The man who’s been following all the happenings at SAFA house, Mninawa Ntloko, joined us to break-down what’s really going on behind closed doors. Springboks returned home this morning following a dismal end of the year tour. One question from everyone’s mind is where to from here? Craig Ray answers this question and we take a look at some of the top nominations at the SA Rugby Awards.

Seabelo Senatla, Kwagga Smith, TKO and Bongani Khumalo

Following their title defence in Dubai over the weekend Springbok 7s ‘ Seabelo Senatla and man of the tournament Kwagga Smith joined us. Despite their league form, sitting at the bottom of the log, Bidvest Wits clinched the TKO title on Saturday. Senior player and star defender Bongani Khumalo joined us to chat about the victory and the difference between their league and cup form at this point.

SA under-17 Women’s national team Bantwana is travelling to Botswana for the first round of the 2018 WC Qualifiers, Sunday and Daily Sun’s Charles Baloyi joined us to talk about the mood in camp, preparations and what’s at stake. It’s a day off for Hollywoodbets Dolphins - their top player and captain Khaya Zondo joined us to chat the RAM Slam, team form and the T20 format among other things, ahead of their stand out clash with the Cobras on Friday.

CAF Confederations Cup, Morgan Gould and Siyabonga Nhlapo

The trophy may be going to DRC but Supersport United have made South Africa proud after the final of the CAF Confederations Cup. Two of their players, Morgan Gould and Siyabonga Nhlapo joined us live in studio to chat about the team’s journey to the decider.
