Cape Town City and Highlands Park share the spoils

Ten man Cape Town City fought back to force a 1-1 draw against Highlands Park at a cold and windy Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday night. City had been reduced to ten men early in the Absa Premiership game after Kermit Erasmus was sent off for a malicious kick on Mothobi Mvala. Tendai Ndoro put Highlands into the lead ten minutes into the second half, and the visitors had chances to double their lead, but were caught on the counter by City late in the game when Craig Martin found an equaliser with five minutes remaining.
