Action Group launches petition against the City of Cape Town
--:--
A Cape Town action group called Stop CoCT has called on the public to have their say on the proposed drought water tariff. The City of Cape Town will now charge property owners with a drought levy to fund the income shortfall as a result of water saving. The city has opened a public participation process for people to comment. As we know, opposition parties such as the ANC and the ACDP have objected to this drought levy.
