Let us save our White sharks
--:--
When Sara Adreotti (33) embarked on a research task to find out how many white sharks are left in South Africa, she was shocked to realize that they could become an endangered species. Sharks found in the 37 beaches in Kwa Zulu Natal are killed legally in order to the number reduce shark attacks. The barriers currently in place are made nets and hooks which kill instead of keeping them away. Sara has then developed Shark-safe Barrier, which just as the title is a safe barrier that keeps sharks away from humans and does not harm them.
