As Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba prepares to leave for the United States to woo investors, there are concerns that remarks made by his economic advisor could result in a frosty reception.
Gigaba’s advisor Professor Chris Malikane wrote an op-ed for the Sunday Times this week saying Treasury is failing to aid the growth of the country's majority. He has called for the nationalisation of banks and mines, which is sure to upset investors at a roadshow in the US this week
